Just like that, May is behind us and June is off to a fast start.
I've been continuing to enjoy Madeira while making lots of progress on both Trophy and Campfire.
Trophy
In May we were focused on delivering a great experience for our new enterprise customer alongside key features that they and others need: environments for testing changes to gamification configuration and deploying them gradually from development to staging to production and multi-tenancy for managing gamification configuration across multiple tenants (customers of our customers).

MRR is up and we're pushing forward. There are some infrastructure improvements I need to work on in June, and we're also working on a reframing of Trophy from gamification APIs to the user engagement layer for consumer apps.
Campfire
We finally deployed Update 42 in May, and it went quite smoothly. There were few bugs and issues with the update, and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

I did loads of testing on the update in May along with small fixes and a lot of code review after it went live.
Next up on the Campfire roadmap is gamification for increasing retention, localization so we can rank in SEO and sell across all major geographies, and a migration to a newer, better, and cheaper email automation platform.
On the marketing side, I built a YouTube Creator Program in May and onboarded five creators, with another few having verbally agreed and just waiting to sign the contract. Two have already published videos and I hope to ramp this up to around $10k of monthly spend driving at least 2x ROI on each video. But we'll see!

Distractions & Personal Life
Continuing to hike, eat, and drink my way through Madeira. My family came for a visit and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Next Month
In June I'll deploy a couple of core infrastructural updates to Trophy and we'll do a minor rebrand and reframing of the product to be less tied to the 'gamification' keyword (which has some baggage) and more tied to 'user engagement' (broader). Plus probably some new features.
