My Madeira trip comes to an end.
Back in Poland, I've settled back in at home and made more progress on both Trophy and Campfire.
Trophy
In June we made a couple of core infrastructural updates. We migrated our primary database from Supabase to PlanetScale, built an enterprise Data Sync feature, created a stable CDN for assets served by Trophy, and improved analytics for our email and push notification features. Aside from that we launched a couple of minor features around personalizing streak rules.
New customers have been coming in and providing additional revenue for us. Our next major task in order to grow is to improve our SEO position. That will be a big focus in July. We're in contact with a few agencies and are in the process of trying the latest and greatest agentic systems for SEO and GEO.
By the end of July we should have some kind of SEO engine starting.
Campfire
June was a productive and profitable month. I was able to slash infrastructure costs by half and ran a summer sale that gave us a little uptick in revenue. The next major task is to localize Campfire into a few new languages, including our entire blog, all of our marketing pages, our apps, our software, and our email marketing automations. This is a big undertaking that's already nearly complete. I expect to launch it in July, starting with Spanish. For the rest of the year we'll iteratively launch additional languages.
In July I also intend to restart the TikTok marketing that worked well for us in Q1/Q2 of this year.
Distractions & Personal Life
Finished off our Madeira adventure. Fairly sad to leave there. Stopped in mainland Portugal for a week to take care of some wedding logistics and see family. Then flew back to Poland where we've been settling back into our flat.
Next Month
Lots to do. New Trophy features, localizing Campfire, relaunching the TikTok campaign, etc.
